Rosuvas 20 contains Rosuvastatin, a statin-class medication used to effectively lower cholesterol levels and reduce the risk of heart attacks, strokes, and other cardiovascular events. It works by inhibiting HMG-CoA reductase, an enzyme involved in the liver’s production of cholesterol.
- May be taken with or without food, at any time of the day
- Take it at the same time daily to maintain steady levels
- Do not discontinue without medical advice, even if you feel well
- Maintain regular cholesterol checks as advised by your physician
Rosuvas 20 is most effective when used along with:
- A low-fat, heart-healthy diet
- Regular physical activity
- Smoking cessation
- Limiting alcohol consumption
- Weight management
- Not recommended for patients with active liver disease
- Use with caution in diabetic patients – monitor blood glucose levels
