- Myocardial infarction (MI):
- For the management of acute myocardial infarction (AMI).
- Unstable angina:
- Used to reduce the risk of ischemic complications in unstable angina.
- Venous thromboembolism (VTE):
- Prophylaxis and treatment of venous thromboembolism.
- Deep vein thrombosis (DVT):
- Prevention and treatment of deep vein thrombosis that may lead to pulmonary embolism (PE).
- Avoid intramuscular administration due to the risk of hematoma formation.
- Carefully monitor patients with low body weight for bleeding risk, as they may be more susceptible to adverse effects.
- If used during IV therapy, ensure proper dilution and compatibility of the carrier solution.
