Clarigen contains Levocetirizine Dihydrochloride, the active levo-isomer of cetirizine. It is a potent, well-tolerated, non-sedating antihistamine with strong anti-allergic effects. Levocetirizine binds to H1 receptors with about twice the affinity of cetirizine, providing rapid and long-lasting relief that supports once-daily dosing.
Clarigen is prescribed to relieve symptoms associated with allergic conditions, such as:
- Perennial allergic rhinitis
- Seasonal allergic rhinitis
- Chronic idiopathic urticaria
