Clobazam is a benzodiazepine that is used to control seizures in adults and children above 2 years of age.Â
Anxiety Disorders:
- Acute and chronic anxiety disorders with symptoms like tension, restlessness, irritability, and sleep disturbances.
- Should be used in individuals with depression or anxiety associated with depression, in combination with sufficient concurrent therapy.
Schizophrenia:
- Used as a supplementary therapy, not as the main treatment, in individuals with schizophrenia or other psychotic disorders.
Epilepsy:
- Additional treatment for individuals with epilepsy who have not been sufficiently stabilized with anticonvulsant monotherapy.
