Dalatic Plus Gel 15gm is a combination medication containing Clindamycin and Tretinoin
- Clindamycin is a topical antibiotic that stops the growth and multiplication of acne-causing bacteria on the skin.Â
- Tretinoin is a synthetic derivative of vitamin A that controls acne breakouts by preventing the clogging of skin pores with sebum and dead skin cells. It also removes dead skin cells that clog hair follicles in areas affected by acne and helps the skin renew itself more quickly.
- Dalatic Plus Gel is for topical use only. Avoid using it on inflamed, irritated, or sensitive skin areas. Do not use any cosmetics or makeup products before applying Dalatic Plus Gel.
- Dalatic Plus Gel may make your skin more sensitive to sunlight. Therefore, use sunscreen and wear protective clothing while outdoors.
- Inform your doctor if you have any other skin conditions (e.g., rosacea, eczema) apart from acne. Also, inform your doctor if you have any gastrointestinal issues (e.g., ulcerative colitis) or a family history of skin cancer.
- Dalatic Plus Gel is not recommended for use during pregnancy or breastfeeding. Women of childbearing age should use a suitable contraceptive method to avoid pregnancy while using Dalatic Plus Gel.
- Possible side effects include skin redness, dryness, itching, stinging, or burning sensation, and peeling at the application site. If these occur, stop using Dalatic Plus Gel temporarily until your skin recovers. Consult your doctor if they worsen.
