- Nystatin: an antifungal that binds to sterols in fungal cell membranes, altering permeability and leading to leakage of cell contents.

Possible Side Effects: Generally well-tolerated, but some patients may experience:
- Burning or stinging sensation
- Itching or irritation
- Redness at the application site
- Thinning of the skin (with prolonged use)
Most effects are temporary and resolve on their own. If persistent, medical consultation is advised.
