Description

Flindof (Doxofylline 200mg) is used for the treatment of:

  • Bronchial asthma
  • Bronchospasm
  • Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD)
  • Respiratory diseases with a spastic bronchial component

Flindof contains Doxophylline, a novel xanthine bronchodilator that:

  • Relaxes bronchial smooth muscle by selectively inhibiting phosphodiesterase-4 (PDE4)
  • Differs structurally from theophylline, with a dioxolane group, leading to reduced affinity for adenosine A1 and A2 receptors—resulting in a better safety profile
  • Inhibits leukotriene production and platelet activating factor (PAF)
