Inhalational Use

As an inhalant, Fluticasone is prescribed for the maintenance treatment of asthma as a prophylactic therapy. It helps in:

  • Maintenance Treatment of Asthma: Acts as a preventive therapy.
  • Reduction of Oral Corticosteroid Therapy: Assists in reducing or discontinuing oral corticosteroids for asthma management.

Fluticasone is NOT indicated for the relief of acute bronchospasm.
