By increasing acetylcholine levels in the digestive tract, it enhances gastrointestinal motility, strengthens lower esophageal sphincter pressure, promotes stomach emptying, and improves coordination between the stomach and duodenum.
Itopid Tablet is used to relieve gastrointestinal symptoms associated with chronic gastritis, including abdominal bloating, upper abdominal discomfort, loss of appetite, heartburn, nausea, and vomiting.
Use caution when Itopid is taken with anticholinergic medications such as:
- Tiquizium bromide
- Scopolamine butyl bromide
- Tiopidium bromide
