Itra Nova 65 is an antifungal medication belonging to the azole class. It is used to treat a wide range of fungal infections by inhibiting fungal growth and disrupting the integrity of the fungal cell membrane, ultimately leading to fungal cell death.

Itraconazole inhibits fungal growth by blocking ergosterol synthesis, an essential component of fungal cell membranes. This occurs through interference with cytochrome P450–dependent enzyme activity, resulting in impaired cell membrane function and fungal cell death.
