Lulifun is a topical antifungal medication designed to effectively treat a range of fungal skin infections. It combats conditions caused by dermatophytes and yeasts, including athlete’s foot (tinea pedis), Dhobie itch (tinea cruris), ringworm (tinea corporis), cutaneous candidiasis (thrush), and dry, scaly skin associated with fungal growth. Its primary function is to eliminate the fungal organism responsible for the infection by disrupting its cell membrane synthesis, ultimately causing fungal cell death.
Fungal infections, also known as mycoses, are diseases caused by fungi such as yeasts or molds. They commonly affect the skin and nails, but can also impact internal organs like the mouth, throat, lungs, urinary tract, and even the brain.
