The antiparasitic medicine class known as “anthelmintics” includes Pyrantel pamoate, which is used to treat intestinal worm infections caused by pinworms, roundworms, hookworms, and other parasites.
A drug to treat helminthic symptoms is called Melphin. Worm infections are treated with it. It eliminates the infection-causing worms to work. The worms are then eliminated in the stool after being killed. This medication can be used for self-treatment of pinworm infections. If you have other types of worm infections, only use Melphin as directed by your physician (such as roundworm and hookworm). Under-six-year-olds shouldn’t take this medication.
