Each 5 ml suspension contains:
- Aluminium Oxide (equivalent to Aluminium Hydroxide Gel USP): 200 mg
- Magnesium Hydroxide (equivalent to Magnesium Hydroxide Paste USP): 400 mg
- Simethicone USP: 30 mg
Use of antacids is not recommended during the first trimester of pregnancy.
Use cautiously in patients with kidney disease.
This medicine is indicated for the symptomatic relief of hyperacidity associated with:
- Peptic ulcer
- Gastritis
- Peptic oesophagitis
- Gastric hyperacidity
Heartburn, sour stomach, or hiatus hernia
It is also effective in the prevention of stress-induced ulceration and gastrointestinal bleeding.
Additionally, due to its antiflatulent properties, it helps relieve gas-related discomfort such as post-operative gas pain by dispersing gastric foam and facilitating the release of trapped gas and air.
