Renesis 50 (Roxadustat) is the first-in-class orally administered hypoxia-inducible factor prolyl hydroxylase inhibitor (HIF-PHI). It promotes erythropoiesis by:
- Increasing endogenous erythropoietin (EPO) production.
- Improving iron regulation.
