Description

Rozy DS Tablet is used for:

  • Hormone replacement therapy (HRT) in postmenopausal women for relief from climacteric symptoms such as hot flashes, night sweats, mood changes, sleep disturbances, and vaginal dryness caused by estrogen deficiency.
  • Management of atrophic urogenital symptoms due to menopause, hypogonadism, castration, or primary ovarian failure.
  • Prevention of postmenopausal osteoporosis in women with an intact uterus.

Rozy DS Tablet (Drospirenone + Estradiol)|Therapeutic Class: Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT), Composition: Each tablet contains Drospirenone 1 mg and Estradiol 0.5 mg

Rozy DS combines 17β-estradiol, a bioidentical form of natural estrogen, and Drospirenone (DRSP), a synthetic progestogen.

Estradiol restores estrogen levels to relieve menopausal symptoms and maintain bone density.

Drospirenone counteracts estrogen-induced endometrial hyperplasia, ensuring hormonal balance and bleeding control.

Estradiol acts on multiple target organs — uterus, hypothalamus, pituitary, vagina, breasts, and bones.

It also contributes to favorable lipid metabolism and vascular effects, supporting cardiovascular health.

  • Discontinue treatment if severe headaches, jaundice, visual changes, or thrombotic symptoms occur.
  • Reassess the benefit-risk balance in women with risk factors such as obesity, family history of VTE, or prolonged immobilization.
  • Avoid use in cases of undiagnosed uterine bleeding or active liver disease.
  • Routine monitoring and regular medical follow-up are advised during long-term HRT use.
