Rozy Tablet is an oral contraceptive that combines Drospirenone and Ethinyl Estradiol, two synthetic forms of the female sex hormones progesterone and estrogen. It is primarily used for preventing pregnancy by regulating hormone levels and controlling the menstrual cycle.
Suppresses ovulation: Stops the release of an egg from the ovary.
Prevents fertilization: Thickens cervical mucus, making it harder for sperm to reach the egg.
Prevents implantation: Thins the uterine lining, reducing the chances of a fertilized egg attaching to the uterus.
Take 1 tablet daily at the same time each day without skipping doses.
Do not rely on rhythm or temperature methods for tracking fertility while using this medicine, as hormonal changes may make them unreliable.
If you miss a dose, follow the instructions provided by your doctor or the medication leaflet.
Consult your doctor before taking Rozy Tablet if you:
- Have a personal or family history of breast cancer.
- Suffer from depression, migraine, high cholesterol, or diabetes.
- Have liver, kidney, or heart conditions, or a history of blood clots.
- Are above 35 years old and smoke, as it increases the risk of cardiovascular side effects.
Not recommended during pregnancy or while breastfeeding.
If pregnancy occurs while taking this medication, discontinue immediately and consult a doctor.
