- Remove cap and shake inhaler
- Exhale fully and hold inhaler upright
- Place mouthpiece between lips, press canister, and inhale slowly
- Hold breath for 10 seconds
- Wait 1 minute between puffs if more than one inhalation is prescribed
- Rinse mouth after each use to prevent thrush
- Clean inhaler weekly (do not immerse metal canister in water)
