Tolperisone Hydrochloride is a centrally acting muscle relaxant. It works on the central nervous system to reduce elevated muscle tone and tension and may improve circulation in the extremities.
In children, strictly follow the prescribed dose and treatment duration.
Tolpa is indicated for the management of:
- Increased skeletal muscle tone due to neurological disorders such as pyramidal tract injury, multiple sclerosis, myelopathy, and encephalomyelitis.
- Muscle spasms, contractures, rigidity, and spinal automatism.
- Vascular disorders include obliterative arteriosclerosis, diabetic angiopathy, thromboangiitis obliterans (Buerger’s disease), Raynaud’s disease, and diffuse scleroderma.
- Post-thrombotic venous or lymphatic circulation disorders and crural ulcers in selected cases.
