Omeprazole Injection is used to treat Peptic ulcer, H. pylori infection, Gastro-oesophageal reflux disease, Zollinger-Ellison syndrome, Oesophagitis, Acid-related dyspepsia, NSAID-associated ulceration

  • Xelopes 40mg Injection, containing Omeprazole, is used to manage conditions such as Zollinger-Ellison syndrome, reflux esophagitis, and ulcers in the stomach and duodenum.
  • Patients should inform their doctor about severe liver problems, unexplained weight loss, stomach pain or indigestion, severe or persistent diarrhea, osteoporosis, or if they need a specific blood test (chromogranin A).
  • Xelopes 40mg Injection can be used in pregnant or breastfeeding women only if advised by a doctor.
  • It is generally not recommended for use in children and adolescents under 18 years of age.
  • Xelopes 40mg Injection should be used with caution in elderly patients (above 65 years) due to an increased risk of fractures, especially with higher doses and prolonged use (over 1 year).
